Abdullah bin Umar (ra) narrated about what might be the best and preferred name of Allaah Teyla, that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said that Allah Ta'ala is the most beloved name among the names of your names: Abdullah and Abdur Rahman. (Meshkat-Muslim)


Hadrat Abu Wahab al-Jusami (ra) was narrated. He said, "The Prophet (peace be upon him) said," Put your name in the name of the Prophets. In reply he said my name is Hana (difficult). Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, your name is Sahl. In response, he said, I do not want to change the paternal name. Then Said bin Musayyab said, then our family always remained submerged. (Meshkat-Bukhari)
